A Call to Action from Our Founder

There is a crisis in adult dental care. Moderate income Patients with extensive needs are either under insured or uninsured. To make a difference I formed Trinity Dental Foundation a 501C3 tax qualified nonprofit as the key stone to an alternative funding mechanism to help meet these needs. It is a simple formula; Member Dentists agree to discount their fees by 1/3 for qualified patients, Donor contributions pay for 1/3 of the cost of care, and patients pay the remaining 1/3.

Patient response has been amazing. We need more donors to help us change lives one smile at a time!

Think of trying to work or find a job with missing and decayed front teeth. Simply eating can be a painful process with abscessed and missing back teeth. For many this is a debilitating condition with no out, until now. These cases typically cost between $10 and 15 thousand dollars! We are not waiting! We are currently treating 5 patients with needs in excess of $60,000. We are counting on donors to continue their care and start with others that are waiting!

How we do it

Trinity Dental Foundation is a financial treatment facilitator for patients seeking comprehensive dental care. We are not dental insurance. We are much better. Dental insurance limits dollars and choices; our approach is holistic. We recognize that free is unsustainable and that all parties need to engage in the process.

The Plan

• Plan for completed treatment with stable long term outcomes
• Share the financial risk: Patients are responsible for 1/3 of the cost
• Providers reduce their fees by 1/3
• Caring donors provide for the remaining 1/3

The existing system of Dental Insurance limits the risk of the insurance carrier to the annual maximum and the patient is responsible for the rest of their care! This would be like car insurance paying for your oil changes and not for a collision!
